We also offer the MicroClient TC with a software development kit (SDK), to allow users to port Open Source code to the MicroClient TC. Ultimately, the MicroClient TC will be offered with a full Linux distribution to include browser, e-mail and office automation tools so that it can be a standalone workstation. But for now, it is designed either for individuals or organizations that are using Windows Terminal Servers for Windows 2000, 2003, or 2008 or for users running virtual machine (VM) implementations of Microsoft Windows XP or VISTA that need to be viewed on remote screens. ![]() Small and Energy efficient - The MicroClient TC Quick RDP (QRDP) is included at no extra charge. With QRDP, the MicroClient TC quick boots and automatically connect via DHCP to the Windows Terminal Server. There is no need to configure each client. There is absolutely no configuraiton reqiured on the MicroClient TC, what-so-ever. Optionally, Windows CE is available. Windows CE can be used for many different applications such as Point of Sale, Media player, kiosk, dedicated browser, or just about any standalone embedded application imaginable. The MicroClient TC can not run Microsoft Windows directly but when connected to a Microsoft Windows Terminal Server, the screen looks exactly as if the Windows session were running locally. Features
