The new unit is small, energy efficient, and fanless, yet, has enough RAM, CPU power and disk storage to support a full desktop operating system such as MicroSoft Windows XP or Linux. The new MicroClient uses the new generation of AMD Geode CPUs that offer the best combination of CPU performance and energy efficiency of any computer.

The MicroClient - New and Improved

The new MicroClient is suitable for both thin clients and desktops. At 12 cent per killowatt hour, a standard desktop PC can cost $34.00 per month to operate. This doesn't include the air conditioning required to balance out the lost energy in heat. Imagine the cost of a dozens or hundreds of computers. The AMD Geode CPU only consumes 0.9 watts of power.
