We are now offering The Multi Client with the Intel ULV series processors. The Intel ULV 650 is a premium solution using a industrial grade motherboard, which is ideal for harsh environments and industrial applications. The board carries a two-year warranty.

The Intel Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) 650 is highly efficient CPU with surprising performance for its clock speed. The ULV 650 is our best choice for applications that need good floating point performance in a totally fanless environment. The ULV 650 features support for accelerated MPEG2 playback. The ULV version of the MultiClient has the same footprint of the VIA-based MultiClients. We can offer the same accessories and software suite. Similarly, the ULV-based systems are available in Diskless Client, Silent PC or PC/DVD configuration. The units usually ship with 256 MB SDRAM and 30 GB 2.5" hard disks. The MultiClient is available with versions that use 3.5 or 2.5 inch hard disks as well as versions with fanless AC power supplies or versions with 12 volt DC power supplies. The MultiClient can be upgraded to feature integrated WIFI, a second NIC, 4 COM ports, and a second parallel port. NorhTec offers a variety of configurations and is happy to consider building custom applications.

With a 2.5 inch hard disk and a slim DVD drive, the system will require only 20 watts of power. We provide a 80 watt external power adapter for the DC powered version. For the AC version, we provide an internal mounted fanless power supply that automatically switches from 120 to 240 volts AC.

The picture below shows the internals of the ULV-based MultiClient, configured with a 3.5" hard disk. This is a completely fanless system.
