The MicroServer HP is designed for applications requiring Windows XP or Windows 2000. While the NorhTec Microserver GP+ are best suited for server and embedded like functions, we have introduced the Microserver HP when a small, rugged, server that can support Windows XP or other desktop based solution is required. The MicroServer HP can easily fit in a hand, as shown below.

The HP Server includes an internal PC/104 bus that allows us to build custom configurations. The Microserver HP can be used for CPU intensive applications such as audio and video streaming or it can be used as a desktop replacement. The HP uses only 12.5 Watts with solid state disk and 15 Watts with a 2.5 inch hard disk.

The standard MicroServer HP comes with a 40 GB 2.5" hard disk or 2 GB Solid State disk and 256 MB RAM.
