I
am Michael C. Barnes, President and Director of nOrhTec. If laptop's are
not portable enough for you, and palmtops are not functional enough, here's
a device that gives you the best of both worlds.
The
NorhTec Personal Server will allow users to run their standard applications
on a form factor that is closer to a PDA than a laptop. The Personal
Server runs existing x86 applications without modification. Instead
of forcing customers to use expensive proprietary peripherals, the
NorhTec Microserver uses standard peripherals.
The

using Aiwa USB modem. |

More
and more applications will require individuals to carry their own servers.
Police, firemen and soldiers are now carrying their own personal servers.
NorhTec Microservers makes this technology affordable and easily deployable.
In order to imagine how many uses there are for NorhTec Microservers,
imagine being able to carry your personal server with all the information
and software that you have only your desk machine, every where you go.

|
NorhTec
believes that teams are more important than individual contributions.
Teams require face-to-face interactions. NorhTec believes that
very little creativity exists as employees sit in their cubicles
and stare at their monitors. Creativity occurs spontaneously when
people come together to discuss ideas. NorhTec Personal Servers
allow individuals to come together as teams.
The
MicroServer allows you to share and communicate your ideas and
projects with your team members. You have a full functional PC
on your palmtop without the bulk of a laptop. This device is also
ideal for professionals who work in more then one location and
wish to have a consistent working environment.

NorhTec
Microservers allow users to use voice over IP or even use "off-the-shelf"
voice recognition software. Because NorhTec's Personal Server runs
existing x86 appellations, users can use existing applications in
ways that simply was not possible on personal computers. Standard
tools such as voice recording, MP3 players, and games are quite
different when they can be used anywhere.
NorhTec's
Personal Servers are ideal for mobile applications. Users can use
their existing software and work with applications and file formats
of their choice.

The
MicroServer PE can replace the GP in any situation where display and input
is required in the unit itself.
